I am in the market for a tablet for my nephew who is ten years old. Don't want to spend too much but don't want to appear too cheap if you know what I mean
Come across this which seems really good value. Not sure if its a misprint but I have ordered one anyway - see what happens

Hopefully it will play Candy Crush which seems to be his favourite game at the moment.

I've not seen tablets with a quad core processor for that price and 8Gb storage is also better than similar tablets in that price range. I'm not an expert but have been looking around at entry price tablets recently and that one looks like great spec for the money.0 -
I bought one of these with free keyboard and case and for the money it is good.

Hiya

Spend a little more & you could (arguably) have a great tablet. 10 hr on battery; 64GB; smooth operation; superb build & screen:

If 'apps' are all that matters, then don't bother, but if you want the 'betamax' to Apple's 'vhs' (younger folk wont follow that one), then this is where it's at imho.0 -

Hi - Can you post a link please - I cannot find it . Daughter off to Sri Lanka for 4 weeks nursing so would like to send her with one to Skype home
Good luck trying to get hold of one. Over on HUKD they've not had much luck finding those and also they seem to have mixed reviews, with lots of owners having had problems with theirs.
I've been looking at these two which I've heard are good for the (entry level) price...
