I live in bromley with my partner and her mum lobes up in milton kyeans MK. as her mum wont give her any money im only just geting by as is as im also buying food. Cloths and things she need for college and also paying rent for her aswell and even payed £44 for a crimal record check she needed done for college as she wants to work with children. All the things her mum should be paying for out her tax and child benafita for her. Her mum wont change anything over to my family or give my partner any money she even exspects me to pay £40 for my parter to go see her own mother ever 4 weeks. In the end i dont know what to do Nd my partner dont know eather shes geting really down and theres nothing i can do. Any help if anybody knows if theres anything i can do/clam for her. If the Daughter isn't living at home then her Mum is committing fraud.

get your OH to ring child tax credits and child benefit informing them that she no longer lives with her mother it would help if you have proof of this such as college letters to your address bank statements etc

got the CAB but due to her age i dont think she will be entitled to anything

personally i would go and see someone at the CAB to help you

is she involved with social services as they may be able to help

over all i would say she is 16 and should move back with her mother Milton Keynes college is excellent and if your relationship is that strong you will make the effort to see each other on weekends a train is around £50 and coach is even cheaper both cheaper if you book in advance and use deals on MSE

is there any option of you moving to milton keynes? there is quite a lot of work down here and rooms are easy enough to rent even if you are on DSS

i moved in with my bf and his family at 16 and it worked well but they were only around the corner from my family - what happens if you two have an argument? she has no where to go no way to get home and no one to help her
The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 5

Its been said but ill re-say it, to qualify for child benefit the parent must have FULL time care of the child, meaning living with the child, inform the mother of this and she might give you half.
