    Hi, i've seen loads of companies who rent out marquees (google it) including HSS Hire (hardware type company).

    I was thinking of having a marquee myself but don't have a clue how you go about getting a bit of land to put it on (my garden isn't big enough).

    Does anyone have any ideas. I'm looking for a 2008 Summer wedding.

    sorry just seen this post,
    try the local scouts,army cadets etc,they sometimes hire them out at cheaper rates than the bigger companies,

    difficult if you dont have a big garden,you could try asking a local farmer,or school with a large play area,or a local beach although you would need permission from the local council for that it doesnt matter if grass or concrete as there are inflatable marquees available to hire,the big problem would be keeping uninvited people away

    I live near Skipton and our local villages that have fetes etc all hire out marquees a lot cheaper than any companies. But you will have to have public liability insurance I think check with local council.

    3mx4m = 10ftx13ft(+few inches) so you'll be fine
