Barclays Partner Loan Early Repayment Advice

Options
Hi, we've just bought a mattress for £995 on a buy it now pay later deal. The loan's with Barclays Partner Finance and we get the 1st 12 months free and then 36 monthly repayments of £42.65 so £1535.40 in total. The terms state "you can repay all or part of the loan early at any time. If you repay your loan before repayments are due we will not charge you interest but we will charge you a settlement fee. If you repay all of the loan after repayments have started we will charge you interest up to the settlement date (which is 28 days after you tell us you want to repay or any later date you tell us you want to repay the loan) plus a further 30 days interest, we will charge interest at the rate which applies to your loan at the time you make a payment".

I have tried to ring them to see if they can clarify, but their offices are closed now until Monday morning. So I was wondering if anyone could help, if I repaid £952.35 in 10 months time and then the final amount of £42.65 came out by direct debit in 12 months would I be charged interest/a settlement fee? I've got 14 days to cancel the loan anyway and if they are going to charge I'd rather cancel then put the amount onto an interest free credit card instead.
