He had a shower at work which the cold water stopped working to so he has scalds down the front of his torso....he'll live and he says he doesn't even need to go to the chemist all he wanted to know was if there was something in the first aid supplies for burns and its turned in to a huge hoohah and they have closed the showers.

Does he need the name of a good accident lawyer - I reckon at least 6 months off work needed (what with the emotional scars etc) all spent beign minstered to by his ever caring wife whilst his employers public liability insurance picks up the cost of paying him and the cost of hiring his replacement :)
    I think....

    i agree. no offence michaels,.....

    No offense taken.

I didn't know how long it would take to rent it and thought we might be spending a fair bit of time there painting up and whatever so wanted to have internet and also prefered to keep the phone line on rather than letting it disconnect and thus suffer a reconnection fee. Talktalk are the cheapest per month even without the incentives which are no longer available so I don't think the tenant has been disadvantaged.

Once you take over the energy supply are you not then bound by the same T&C (including and switching before minimum term charges) that the previous person had signed up to or be it with energy it tends to be max £50 per fuel rather than 12 months?

Edit: Any update on the house you went to see. I am in the buy cheap with potential to upgrade to your specification rather than buy ready to move into and suffer someone else's view of how the place should have been renovated.

Sigh. Six months off work. Wow. We'd be exhausted. :D

But nope, he'll be fine he says. I think he'll need lots of attention tonight though. :)

They say vitamin e liquid is good for healing/leaving no scars.... even if you're cracking open tiny vitamin e capsules to get it

I have a bottle of very viscous vit e by my bed. I use it for my skin quite often. :)

The problem with TalkTalk is that their customer service is non-existent.

I prefer to buy with the least hassle in terms of the work that needs doing.
