* Want to do something amazing for dh for our 6th anni on the 26th June! *

Can someone please help? I'm not sure what we could do as we have three kiddies. Looks like I'll have to BEG my mum to look after them for the day.

I was thinking maybe Madame Tussards (sp?) then lunch, later in the evening maybe dinner and a movie, was hoping to book into a hotel, but this might push mum over the edge! :rotfl: ? This sounds pretty boring though.

I really wanted to renew our vows, but have left it too late. Anyway, the point is, DH has been such an amazing husband, I couldn't have asked for more, and I want to really show him a good time, and because we don't really go out much and our a young couple, I think we really need some alone time.

Any other ideas much appreciated.

    Hiya,

Well I dont know if this will help but its our 2nd wedding anniversary next week and we have decided cause its hassle getting people to look after 3 kids! (7,3,10months) that we will leave baby with my mum and let the kids have sneeky day off school and nursery (naughty i know) and go to a zoo or something like that (have saved tesco points!!) and then after we are going to go for a meal with the kids!!.(something like beefeater):T

We just think it will be a lovely day! hopefully!!:rotfl:

You could do a cinema trip and then picnic?/or book a cheap hotel and having picnic in your room!!:o

congrats and hope you think of something!!!:j

Thank you for replying! I hope you have a lovely time! :D Sounds like fun.

I'm hoping my mouth will heal by then, as I'm going to be in a right hump at not being able to eat some lovely food! LOL

Think Cinema will definitely be on the agenda. I know that whatever we do will be great, it's just I want to really make a huge effort this year.

That sounds like a lovely day out Charlene, hope you have a fab time and I'm sure your hubby will love whatever you plan.

As for ideas, you could perhaps go for a picnic for lunch if it's a nice day, and then have more to spend when you go out for dinner?

I think a picnic sounds great! I wonder if my 'mc cain moments' picnic pack will come in time! LOL, haven't really done one before, so would be something fresh and new. I'm really looking forward to it. Have convinced mum to have kids for the day and night!

    Gotta go, he is coming!
