The Bankruptcy Board is here to stay

I've just deleted a thread with a poll about whether this board should be a standalone. In it were a number of abusive threads naming other posters.
So let me make a few things clear
1. This board is here to help those who are bankrupt or in the process.
2. Rude and abusive comments about individuals are not permitted by any one whatever their view point
3. If you spot such comments please report them to abuse
4. When threads are deleted writing comments about "I had to vent what was said about in a deleted thread by" - negates the whole process.
5. This board is here to do what it does. It's future is my decision. For those very small number of posters who find it doesn't help them or believe it should be somewhere else are entitled to their opinion. Yet the simple rule is if it doesn't help you or provide benefit - the best solution is not to post or visit it. It is not compulstory.
Please people stop navel gazing and get on with what its here for to help and gave hints about living with bankruptcy. If someone says something that you don't agree with - they're entitiled to their opinion - this is a forum - just rise above it. Yet if they are abusive - please don't respond just go to !!!!!! and let them deal with it - and leave the matter closed

Hi Martin,
Well said, what amazes me is that so many people miss the point that it's not friction between the DFW and the Bankruptcy Boards that cause the problems; it's a small number of people who do it merely as a morbid form of entertainment.

Yes Martin. The only reason I post here is is to help people.

Spot on, Martin. How we got into debt or whether people agree with the debt isn't the issue for this forum - it's how we help each other to move on & get our lives back on track that matters.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

I think leaving the boards together will lead to more stress but respect that it's you board and your choice.Barclaycard 3800

I feel that if we are all mature adults, and use the board for it's purpose and not get involved in unrelated debates, the boards should and could run along side each other without a problem.
I am in no way pointing a finger. I just think it would be a shame if bickering lead to that.
Martin is not directly involved on the board, and from an outside perspective it must seem slightly ridiculous.
I personally feel slightly embarrassed that I was involved in any recent disputes .:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -

Thanks folks.
The thing to remember is this is a Forum and people have varied opinions - we just need to hold our courtesy and be considerate - the same as if everyone was talking together in a pub about it.
Wishing you all the best and keep on MoneySaving
