Farmfoods best buys

I have seen on another thread that Nicky toilet rolls are a good buy from farmfoods. I need some so thought I would give these a try. Its not really worth me making the journey for just toilet rolls so can anyone recommend other items which are good to get from farmfoods. I have only been in once before and never returned as I found the own brand frozen food terrible quality, however this was years ago so things might have changed, I am willing to give it another try.

Fortunately, it's easy for me to get to Farmfoods so I don't have your problem. Also, I don't really buy ready meals but I have bought DH the occasional Weightwatchers fish pie and pizza for when we have children round. They have good prices on cakes and biscuits but I don't really buy those either.

I buy Nicky toilet roll and also Nicky kitchen roll (£1.19 for two massive rolls). All their frozen veg is worth buying, I'm a huge fan of the cut leeks particularly. I buy frozen fish, especially the smoked haddock. They are small scraggy pieces but for £5 a kg they're fine. Their bread (Hovis) and milk is great value and cheese can be too. They have tins of corned beef reasonably priced. Just recently they've started selling fresh meats. I like the look of the pork loin chops and will buy some when I've room in the freezer. I saw Easy bleach at a good price and I also buy extra strong mints for DH at 5 for £1.

There are loads of other things, it depends what you'd normally buy.

Nicky toilet rolls and kitchen rolls are also available from Home Bargains and B&M, so it might be easier if you have either of these near you.

I did. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything. I do find the search function not very user friendly.

I went today. I was very impressed got some toilet rolls not sure if they are the same as what the other stores stock they were scented! however I'm sure i've read people buy quilted ones but couldn't see those.

I got lots of frozen veg for the freezer at very good prices. I've posted on the main thread about the 500ml bottle of fizzy drinks for 45p just to kept everything together.

It will probably be worth me making the trip once every month or so.
