Cardiff bus fare....

I have to go to Merthyr Tydfil later in the year, I will be getting the train to Cardiff and there is a connecting train 30 mins later, however there is a bus service which takes the same time but leaves 20 mins earlier, any local readers know the fare on the stagecoach bus to Merthyr Tydfil from Cardiff?
I have looked at the stagecoach site but I'm only seeing season ticket fares.
TIA

Did you perhaps see a telephone number or email address for customer services on the Stagecoach website?

As you have responded it would be rude not for me to reply, indeed there is a number and email address, and of course I have tried them, no response, hence the next option was to ask globally as I have done. Somebody may have local knowledge, I didn't know that was against the forum rules and I apologise for wasting valuable seconds of your life.
I have since discovered that one can purchase a plusbus add on for £2 which allows usage on certain local buses, I just wish you had mentioned that then I could have happily added a thanks to your post count.
    Thanks for replying though

Does the Cardiff plusbus area extend as far as Merthyr?

Thanks for responding and not telling me off for asking a fair question, yes it seems it does extend there

Merthyr Plusbus covers Merthyr and a few miles outside and Cardiff Plusbus does similar for Cardiff. They are two separate things and do not meet.

You can not get a Cardiff Plusbus ticket and use it to get to Merthyr.

Plusbus is designed to be used within the urban area of the nominated town only

Ah, I get ya, thanks for that, looks like the train to Pentrebach then, the extra waiting I suppose I can take in some refreshments.
Around here the Centro day ticket covers all public transport within the Region and even spanning into sections of the adjoining counties.

    I would've mentioned Plusbus if appropriate. ;)

Fair enough, in my original post I did ask though"any local readers know the fare on the stagecoach bus to Merthyr Tydfil from Cardiff?"
So was simply looking for a figure what the single fare is, perhaps a single fare does not exist in that locality for that journey, I don't know as I'm not local to there, but I have decided to just hang about for the connecting train .
