Sky - how can i get the best deal???

Can anyone help me? I am moving house on Friday and want to stinge as much as I can out of Sky, at the moment I have the full Tv package but that is all – no broadband or phone. I want Sky + and want to get it as bargain friendly as possible. The best idea I have at the moment is recommending my other half steve as a friend, and when we move he sets up sky as my friend. The binus with this is that we both get £30 M&S vouchers and we get all the ‘new customer’ deals on sky+ - no installation etc. but reading this site makes me wonder if I would be better off phoning up and threatening to cancel and getting 3 months ½ price etc. I don’t think this is a better deal than £60 M&S vouchers plus free sky+ installation etc, but I don’t want to miss out on a deal here.

Can anyone recommend what I should do to get the most out of sky??

I doubt you will get BOTH. Introduce a friend is £30 M&S vouchers (according to any rep Ive talked to) the ONLY deal on until the 15th of june. The sky+ deal has been reported by a few as a introduce a friend offer but has been more refused than not

Oh and you both have to be subscribers as well. The vouchers take 60 days to come through so both accounts have to be running for the order to be processed so in reality you would have to pay for sky twice for at least a month so if you are on the full package you will really only be making about £17 out of it. And then if you use the £15 minimum package on the other then you make £2

    BTW
The system has to be installed by the 15th july so not much time left. as some have waited weeks for instalation
