Comp Newbie

hey there

new to website and after a bit of poking around I happened to stumble on the competition forum.

Just wondering if its all worth it? I mean I am assuming that its all free? I don' have the best of luck in the world lol bu I am on a mission to save money wherever I can and figured maybe entering comps would be a god idea? Can anyone tell me of strategies or things to look out for - do I need to do it daily weekly?

It's where a lot of people announce their wins.

It's all down to luck, if you go into it expecting to win you could be very disappointed, on the other hand, you might strike lucky very quickly.

It's def worth it, I've been comping since nov 2012 and my biggest wins so far - my car insurance paid for a year (£500) a £400 coffee machine which I sold as already had one. £100 canon camera, so that alone all adds up to £1000! And then I've had loads of little wins as well!
Def give it a go, takes a lot of patience, and don't be gutted if you don't win for a few weeks!

over the years it's saved me loads by winning lots of things, moneys wins, prezzies for people etc :j

I would advise you read our comping guide first
(if you don't mind me saying & if you've not already done so)
as it's full of helpful/interesting tips/guides etc to help :j

Just the question I wanted to ask, it gets a bit demoralising when you don't win anything but it seems as if it is worth it so will keep going, hope to be announcing on the I Won board soon.

It's definitely worth it - but you get what you put in. The more you enter the more chance you have of winning.

I usually enter between 100 - 200 a day and have a fairly good success rate. See my signature for my best wins so far this year.
