Loans for under 21, no credit rating
I am 19 years old in full time employment with a salary of £14,450. I have wanted a second hand car now for a while as my car has been broken into and is going to cost me at the MOT. I know you will probably say save but I don’t want to get just another Bangor, I want to get on the ladder of getting a new car every so often. I do not want a brand new car as you loose to much and the car I want is around £3500, I feel I am in work now full time at university part time and want a nicer car as I need one for work.
I have been declined now for about 4 loans and I just cant find one that will help, my bank said they would give me one if I held a current account for 6 months but they never upgraded my account and so I have held my account for 2 months and I have had no interest since I was 18. They have said that I could apply as lots of people get accepted but now they have declined me and I don’t know what to do, I really need a car by July 2007 as this is when my car fails.
I have had two lots of car insurance on credit and I have never missed a payment, orange phone bill which I have never missed, a laptop which I paid up in full and never made a late payment which I purposely got on credit to make it better but now nobody will touch me as I am not 21.
I live with my mum in a council property and my mum is not employed as she is ill, my dad being self employed and doesn't have a regular income, plus I don't live with him.
I can easily afford up to £130 but I only want the car loan for 3 years. This is really getting me down as I could loose my job without a car and I want something reliable. As I get my university paid for I can't get a company car!
Is there any unsecured loan for people with no credit and under 21?

The immediate thing that Im thinking is do you have a student loan?
If not, that would be my loan of choice, you can pay back whenever and youll have a v low APR.:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
