thanks jeddentad,
You certainly know your stuff! When i got my laptop back the guy put comodo dragon on and this has what has initiated the auto fill for me. I have been toying with auto fills before this but am still wary of the yellow box and if this will be discounted for comps. I am currently continuing with manual typing until i know a bit more . thanks for your help and i will keep an eye on your test results when you have completed them.:)0 -
Just as a little flip to this, I use Roboform and have for past few years and have won stuff very regularly so I am not sure it makes a huge difference, it may on 1 or 2 forms but there are so many each day I would not personally worry too much about it as it currently standsJuly 2015 Wins- Shaun The Sheep Goody Bag, 4x Books
Year to date: £786
Total to date ( Since 2008 ) = £37,345 :eek:0 -

That's pretty much my opinion after seeing things work.
There will be some few who have actively programmed against autofill (or have mistakenly programmed against autofill, which would be more likely), but in general, for a standard form, none of it will make a difference. The fields get filled, the values get submitted.
My biggest concern with any form filler is it changing the values of hidden fields.
I wonder now if anyone comps with javascript disabled
Personally I like the individual field fill, rather than profile fills, basically because I tend to not "see" the places where the autofill makes mistakes until after I hit submit :mad:0
