Hi,
My Kim and Aggie Cleaning bible says, use clear vinegar or lemon juice. Soak or sponge the clothes with vinegar (only lemon juice on wool) rinse and wash. Hope that helps.0 -

Hi thanks for this.
I will try a stain remover too.
Which ones are effective? Would bleach do anything or would it send it another colour?

OLLYWOOD: I saw somewhere, but can't remember where, about using a dishwasher tab to get stains out. They were talking about a specific make but I just used what I had on a white shirt and the stain seems to have gone. This wasnt sweat stain but worth a try if you have any or could 'borrow' one.
