    Hi,
My Kim and Aggie Cleaning bible says, use clear vinegar or lemon juice. Soak or sponge the clothes with vinegar (only lemon juice on wool) rinse and wash. Hope that helps.

    Hi thanks for this.

I will try a stain remover too.

Which ones are effective? Would bleach do anything or would it send it another colour?

    Thanks

OLLYWOOD: I saw somewhere, but can't remember where, about using a dishwasher tab to get stains out. They were talking about a specific make but I just used what I had on a white shirt and the stain seems to have gone. This wasnt sweat stain but worth a try if you have any or could 'borrow' one. There's this stuff - Deo-Go - which is endorsed by the Good Housekeeping Institute, but I haven't tried it myself so have no idea how well it works.
