Herbalife Users

Hi

Can any past or present Herbalife users give me a quick run down of how this works and what it costs.

Keep seeing rave reviews on Facebook but getting actual prices etc is like getting blood from a stone!

I'd be interested in people's experience of it and an idea of how much weight can be lost.

I'm not interested in selling etc, just the basics of using it

  • I'm trying to find out exactly the same - looked on their website and just find it incredibly vague!
  • Herbalife is a meal replacement programme, so basically wat u do is replace 2 of ur meals with the herbalife shake n eat just as normal, normal healthy stuffs. Herbalife is not a diet company, its a nutrition company, so the shakes are made with all the nutritional stuffs needed by the body, proved by the top doctors. Fitness is based on 80% nutrition and 20% exercise, so it focuses on providing the body with all the nutritional factors as required by our body as described by science. In our day to day life, everyones busy and its not easy for us to provide our body with all the nutrition as required even though we all know how important it is, and even we try to eat healthy, its not possible because we dont know exactly how much vitamins, proteins or calcium we need in our body, so thats where herbalife comes. It has been made with all the nutrients required by our body, thus making us healthy and in the same way helps us manage our weight. The same stuff can be taken for weight gain, weight loss or to stay healthy. Its the same stuff but the way to take it is different according to the user's need. After using the products, you are suppose to look and feel healthy and full of energy.

  • think i forgot to mention that it also has 30 days money back guarantee, would it have offered the money back guarantee if it wasn't legitimate??
Well, talking about myself I had personally used it and am happy so far with its result.

Oh, I know all about Herbalife and as I said total waste of money! It's a pyramid selling game like Amway.

  • And it only works because you're dropping so many calories. As soon as you eat normal food again, you'll regain.

I did a similar diet - Cambridge- and they also try to market themselves as a weight management plan rather than a diet. The only reason you lose weight is because you consume such a low number of calories (step 1 is 3 shakes a day so around 400 cals). There are 6 or 7 steps to the program but because people want fast results they generally go onto the first stage then go back to the way they were eating before. Then gain weight again and go back to the shakes.

Not only is this a vicious cycle, it ended up costing me £50 a week - and then I had to buy food on top of that for OH.

Oh, and the Herbalife 30 day money back guarantee? From the website:

    "7. 30-day money back guarantee
As part of Herbalife’s commitment to delivering beneficial, high-quality products, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not fully satisfied with any product for any reason, simply return the unused portion within 30 days and you’ll receive a full refund."

So the guarantee is not that you'll lose weight or keep it off.
