Dad is fine about lending the money, he says they can pay it back as if it were a mortgage and when they can, take the extra money from equity and pay it back. He has a small mortgage on a second property for tax purposes so don't think he's that worried and none on his main. I know my sis is lucky and dad says he'll do the same for me if I ever manage to find a house I like!Do you think, although the mortgage they have is portable, in light of being refused for extra money,Nationwide may put a spoke in the wheel and not allow them to take the mortgage with them? Incidentally, trying to get through to Nationwide is just impossible. My sis has been on the phone all day today and several people promised to ring back and no-one has.
My sis and OH have had the offer accepted on the house at £7000 less so hope it all works out for them.0
