Groom & ushers suits...cheapish...any ideas?

Options
Hello all, I've not been on in a while, now a year since we got engaged so we've not done much planning recently, but the wedding is in April and will come round quick I think so I need to pick it up again!

I am looking for royal blue (preferably brighter than Navy) suits, I've seen some nice budgety ones in Primark, but am struggling to find them in all the sizes, as the six we need are all quite varied shapes! (Just to clarify, we aren't talking needing a trip to Big & Tall! but I can't find them all instore) Ideally I'd like the suit (jackets and trousers) for under £60 so would love to hear if any of you have any top tips please! :)

Matalan have some good budget suits at the moment...possibly around the £60 mark...they do a mix and match so you can get trousers and jackets seperately.

Was in there yesterday looking for grey and the trousers seem to be £15 per pair and jackets were possibly £40-45.

    Might be worth a look

Otherwise if the guys are not going to wear the suits again it might be just as cost effective to hire especially if you can get a deal where the grooms suit is free.

Thank you, I was thinking Matalan would be a good place to look.

Struggling to find suits to hire in the colour we are after as it's a very laid-back wedding at a farm so we don't want a morning-suit...but will keep looking. Thanks again.

Out of budget slightly by my OH bought his 100% wool navy suit from H&M for £93 with codes however previously he'd bought a polyester suit from H&M instore for much cheaper. Its worth keeping an eye online as their suits become very reasonable with discount codes.

  • In case anyone else was having the same trouble I thought I'd update you, I have managed to find the suits in Tesco! They were £60 each, then with a 15% off code got them for £51 each. They are the perfect bright blue we hoped for and we are so pleased with them. Worth a look if you are stuck.
  • Moss Bros do blue morning suits for £100 ppn, groom goes free.
