Cancelling & Re-Ordering Sky

Hi all,
I apologise if this is in the wrong place, but I didn't know where to post it.
I'm currently paying just over £50 a month for Sky+ & multiroom (and Prem Plus). This is starting to hurt the pocket with all the other offers out there, especially for new customers.
Therefore, does anyone know if Sky could tell or work out if I cancelled Sky and then re-ordered in my partners name to gain discounts?
Thanks in advance.

Phone them and say that you are upset by the offers for new customers, as you have been loyal for X years/months. Ask them if they could offer you the same deal they are offering new customers.
Or, alternatively, just phone them up and say 'What deals can you do for me?'.
I do this with NTL/Virgin Media every 3 months. Each time they offer me half-price internet for 3 months. So I currently pay £18.50 for 20mb broadband

Best to just cancel it. They will either offer you something on the spot...or pester you by phone with offers "you can't refuse".0

Well, I've just spoken to them about canceling and they didn't offer me anything, other than to reduce my package and they can't do anything with SKY HD, even staff don't get a discount.
The problem is, they require 30 days notice and the offer I'm interested in expires on 21st June
