Has anyone had the same experience as I have recently with M&S? I ordered over £300 of Per Una sale items 3 weeks ago in their online sale. I placed 2 separate orders. There were 13 items in all. For each item their website said 'normally dispatched in 24 hours'. 3 items were delivered last week - 2 weeks after I placed the order. The estimated delivery date for the rest of the goods has been slipping further and further into the distance and I keep getting occasional emails saying that 'unfortunately one of the items is no longer in stock'. Last week I decided that enough was enough and rang them up asking to be put through to a manager. I got an apology and a promise to chase up the outstanding items.
However, still nothing has arrived. Not even the promised vouchers to compensate me for my problems. I rang again an hour ago to chase up the 6 items which were supposedly awaitin dispatch to me - but have now been told that all the outstanding sale items on my order are out of stock!
Are M&S trying to put all its loyal customers off buying anything online? It would appear so to me.

Same thing happened to me. Have just received an email telling me the remainder of my order is out of stock and the order has been cancelled. Grrr!!0

I've been told that something is due to be despatched sometime between now and June 2008. AAAAArgh.0

Keep at customer services! I placed a sale order a few months ago, came to just over £30. A couple of things got cancelled, and for each I was given a £10 voucher as a goodwill gesture without having to ask. It took so long for the order to be despatched, the sale ended and they had some new offers on - so they also applied the new discounts to my order, knocking it down to £15!
Give them a call, tell them how disappointed you are with their poor communication and how long this has all taken, see where it gets you.0 -
Same here. Order placed 17th May, have received emails apologising for delay and advising items are now not available and the expected delivery date is about a week from now. Blooming annoying.
