Amazing what having no pennies to spend apart from on essentials does for you while paying off debts. As usual a big thank you to all who post piccies, run, update and post on the thread - this time last year I aimed for 9 NSD's and got 7 NSD's. You can get this far too

Well done Fedup - no one is ever going to beat that :rotfl:
Well today wasn't a NSD as largely predicted. OH needed emergency rations and I did pretty well sticking to plan except for two other items I had in mind from last night to make a veggie version of the chicken kebab from the takeaway secret book.
Garden nearly finished thank goodness and looks fab. Can't say the same about the plumbing but hopefully either me and OH can sort it tomorrow or I will get someone else in. On the upside, I have given the windows a first coat of paint (actually a bit lighter than I imagined but I have 2.5l of the stuff so not changing it nowAlso sanded and polished the bath panel - now in two minds about painting that too rather than leaving it as bare wood....why do I do this to myself
currently making my first ever batch of HM ice cream...I hope it was supposed to look like lightly scrambled egg before straining it  This is going to be a raspberry ripple one to use some of the jam that didn't set - which is quite tart and I'm hoping will go nicely in the ice cream. Also have an idea for a Prosecco sorbet too (perhaps with some nectarines I have frozen)....now I wonder whats giving me that idea?
Can feel the change in the seasons coming but how lovely has the weather been today? (well it has in the 'Shire anyway). Love this time of year - I think I get all nostalgic and all 'oldy worldly about it. Oh, and seen a load of elderberries at the end of our drive...seem to be getting into this foraging lark this year.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Why thank you my lovely NSDer's,
I could only do it because of my strict budget plans which have evolved over the last few months and have stuck to due to me paying my overdraft off over the next few months - 25% paid off this month and should be 50% paid off by the end of Sept if all goes to plan.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Thanks for your well wishes for DH, it was his 5 year check up after having a major op. They found no polyps and took no biopsies which is very good news. The worst thing about it was having to drink that foul stuff to clean him out.
I haven't managed to get anymore nsds to finish the month off.
Best of luck to everyone in September.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50
