Old PO

Turning out an old drawer I found a whole £5 of uncashed postal orders dated 1975. Well would you tear up a £5 note? They say if not cashed within 6 months, this order should be referred to a post office for enqiury. Anyone done that? I would not like to do that if there is a queue behind me which there always is at my POs.
Can still do or is there a collectors' market?
Sorry my posts so long - not time write shorter ones.

On the Post office website its says postal orders can be cashed up to 6 months and after that it is up to the post office's 'discretion'.

There are a couple of old ones selling on Ebay but not for much.

Sorry that wasnt much help at all!

have you got the whole of it ? Or is it just the bit that you would have been given back in 1975?

Whaddayamean unorganised? It shows I am very organised. In my fashion. Someone else might have lost them! At least during house moves.
