CP Plus and Debt Recovery Plus

Options
hi
I live in Scotland and have been ignoring the letters from CP Plus as many of these threads advised after my husband overstayed his welcome in a Scottish service station. I have now received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus threatening court action. Has anyone else received these or can anyone out there advise me?
Thanks

    Hi,

I too live in Scotland and have received similar from CP Plus. Debt Recovery Plus are the same people as CP Plus and you should completely ignore everything they send. Eventually, the letters will stop.

Yup - POFA does not apply in Scotland and NI, so the best action is to ignore these scammers. Just sit it out - A shufty through the pre-POFA letter chain thread here should give you a good idea of the rubbish they are going to send.

Please not another load of threads 'oh help I have a letter from DRP or Zenith, looks all official, now what?' posts! Not being funny, really, it's just that there is mountains of information and threads about these letters which you can find with a simple Google search:

Ignore them like everyone else does, especially in Scotland where there was/is no appeal. DRP are NOT the same people as CP Plus. DRP and Zenith are the same, just a debt collector who send stupid computerised template letters every day in the hope that some idiot pays them.

DO NOT NAME THE DRIVER, GIVE NO INFORMATION TO THEM.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
