Rit colour remover

Good Morning,
I have yellow egyption cotton bath towels, have had them for about 9 years and they are still in good condition, but they no longer match my bathroom.
Have been looking for a way to turn them into white towels (goes with any bathroom colours), but without damaging them. Wondered if anyone had any tips? Have been reading a bit about Rit colour remover and also wondered if this may be the answer.
Thought I would get some opinions before jumping in and ruining them as I would rather have decent yellow towels than have to buy new ones!
Thank you in advance.

I doubt you would ever get them a nice crisp white which would just leave them looking murky.. I'd stick with yellow!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Like pigpen, I don't think you'd get beautifully white towels - ivory perhaps? But, you could try it & if you don't like the outcome, perhaps dye them a deeper colour - not very MSE and probably not a lot cheaper than new towels.0
