Dorset Cereal

Just curious - I do spin the bottle and the little quiz thing every day to earn points for the monthly draw, but today I found the games, where you can win an additional point for each one you play.

Do people play these every day too?!

I have 113 points for this months draw - just wondering how this compares to what other people have?!

Thanks!

I have been doing them too Boris as there are so many prizes this month. I don't usually do them. Think I have over 300 points. :o

Boris from previous experience there are so many peopke doing the dorset cereal comp that even when a huge volume of prizes are on offer for the monthly draw (such as this month) that a win is unlikely no matter how many tokens you have. Last time there was 1000 cases to be won i collected tokens off every little game etc every day for the whole month and still won nothing. I don't bother so much now as it's so time consuming

Thanks StokieBecks - might not bother then! Those games take up precious competition entering time!

I did win the last time they had a lot of prizes. I only do the easy games that don't take too long!

I would say if you have time then give it a shot but don't let it take over valuable time that could be better spent entering more

To give you some idea of your chances I would expect (based on previous months figures) there to be around 1,250,000 tokens/entries.

You could earn around 715 tokens this month plus whatever you get on the spin (from 93 to 465, most likely much nearer the lower end) say a total of around 820 tokens.

    With 1,000 prizes

820 entries gives overall odds about 1.5 to 1
120 entries gives overall odds about 10.4 to 1

Thanks mjm3346 - I do love a bit of statistics!

The odds look pretty good if you got the maximum points for this month. Sadly it is too late for me to get many more entries this month, but I will certain bear it in mine for future months.

It takes over 10hrs a month if you are going for the maximum number of entries and although they don't normally have 1,000 prizes on offer the total number of entries/tokens remains about the same.
