Unpaid CCJ from 2005

Through an employment tribunal I was granted a CCJ against my employer but made the mistake of naming the limited company on the court action. The company liquidated so of course I was never paid - the owner did not dispute the claim and did not attend the hearing.

Is there any way I can have the CCJ reinstated, but against the owner of the company as I have no way of claiming any monies back from the liquidated company?

It would seem that he did set up another company here in the UK, but it looks like he liquidated that one as well.

I would be grateful for any advise.

Many Thanks

I think you may find you are out of time to seek a further CCJ as the debt occurred more than 6 years ago.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

How was that a mistake? Surely the limited company was the employer?

The director has no liability for the company. So, you couldnt have named him personally unless it was a personal debt.

If you were employed by the limited company then their debt to you was liquidated with it. The director has no personal liability for its actions as legally he is totally separate from it, even if a CCJ could be issued this late.
