Hi,

I have had two implants in my lower jaw to hold an over denture. I am now waiting for the final denture to be made (2 weeks time). I am glad I had the work done and excited at being able to eat properly again.

one really important piece of advice would be to NOT delay seeing an implantologist and having implants (even if it means paying via finance rather than saving upfront)
once a tooth is extracted, you start to suffer bone loss and gum shrinkage, which may well make the treatment more complicated/difficult and expensive.

jaynee, I would be so grateful if you could explain a bit more about the 'over denture'. I am going to have to grit my teeth (whoops wrong word!) and if I am lucky hope to have something similar to you. How many teeth will the 2 implants take?
