Using Sainsburys coupons

I wonder if anyone else is having a similar experience?

Sat 13th July shopped at sainsburys, get a £6.00 off if you spend £40 coupon. In the week nipped in for a couple of items, get a £4.50 off if you spend £30 coupon.

Sat 20 July shopped. bill just over £40.00 tendered both coupons successfully, £10.50 off !

Given another £6.00 off you spend £40 coupon. Midweek, shopped for 2 items, another £4.50 coupon.

Sat 27 July shopped, bill just over £40, successfully used both coupons, £10.50 off again, given another £6 off if you spend £30 coupon, then Sunday, 2 items, and guess what another £4.50 if you spend £30 coupon!

I like this, spend just over £40, getting £10.50 off, think I'll push my luck midweek and see it I get a 3rd coupon for next weekends shop!

    Morning all,

Apologies if this has been reported already (this is my first time on the forums but I've had advice from here before so I wanted to share this) but it seems (certainly as of yesterday) that you can use multiple Sainsbury's money off (£10 off a £70 shop, £9 off a £60 shop ) in one go (the ones they print out for you when you buy something).

Last night had an £85 shop, got the £10 off scanned and then got the shop assistant to try the £9 off voucher as well and much to my delight it worked! I don't know if works with 2 of the same value vouchers but as of last night it certainly works with different ones.

Hope this helps other people as well (we got the 2nd voucher in store at the pharmacy having only spent a couple of pounds)

The tills are not intelligent enough to stop you, the checkout operator is meant to not let you. We were always told to only accept one of these types of voucher when I worked there. Vouchers do get randomly checked by the cash office so they will so pick up on assistants that let a lot though and have a word with them.

These coupons are hard to come by so enjoy them when you can.

As a local to the store, I'm lucky if they offer me 180 points when I spend £80!! (that's 90p!!) :(
    Wishing you all good luck!

Go somewhere else for a few weeks, then come back, the better vouchers seem to start again!

I tried that, to no avail! Much as I hate Asda I thought I would go there for a few weeks and then try Sainsbury's again. No luck, still the same miserable vouchers for 180 points on a £60 spend, etc. I think maybe the time has come to stay away even longer this time.

My friend got sick of her rubbish coupons from Sainsburys so she opened a new Nectar account and within a few weeks, she got £6 off £40, instead of 120 points for £60 shop. She then transferred her points from the old card to the new card. Need to phone Nectar to do this.

You may have to do that yourself!
