On Line Conveyancing, any good?

We are looking to appoint a solicitor for our house purchase. Are these online conveyancing firms any good? Do we have to pay anything upfront? Anyone with any experiences (good or bad) please respond.
Yours in confusion. :-/

    service can vary -
poss some marketing schemes may remove firms with previous bad feedback
Of course often they are not local - harder to sort out problems
I would usually recommend using a local firm recommended personally, but obviously the cost is usually higher, and some people can find some tradiational sols a bit off hand

  • I am using adobeconveyancing.co.uk and they seem good so far. Have not completed the sale and purchase yet, but all seems good and efficient.
