    poorly worded by me, by mirror I meant that as income is split at the level of individual properties (according to ownership portion) then expenses must also be split by property based on actual cost for the respective property. it is the splitting principle that "mirrors" treatment of income, not the actual mechanics of the expenses numbers

    As for your generic costs then they are very much in the minority and i fail to see why they cannot be split in line with the overall income apportionment you referred to above eg: 83/17, but you cannot use such an apportionment for any costs which can be directly attributed to specific properties
