would just like to offer some advice about bankruptcy my husband was bankrupt in 2007 and a lot of his debts were wiped off but there was 2 debts that were in joint names and a loan which i had to get to purchase a car because the car that was in his name had to be sold , the situation im in now is as follows me and hubby have separated and any debt that was in joint names has fallen onto me which is on my credit file i am a single parent who works part time 16 hrs and receive some help with rent working taxcredits and child tax credits the total debt is 17k which i am worried sick about ,my ex was discharged and is building his credit rating back up i on the other hand have been left to sort this out , can anyone offer any help as to what i can do is bankrupcy a opition for me cos i cant see another way out of this x
