Electronic Toothbrushes

Hi
Looking for some personal experience/recommendations for electronic toothbrushes.
For a few years now I've been using an oral b electric toothbrush (braun professional care 1000) both my partner and I use the brush.
Our problem after about 6 months it needs charging every other day takes over 12 hours to charge we then end up replacing it like for like when places like boots or amazon do offers on new brushes.
We'd like to try a new brand/type but we don't want to risk spending more on another brush that isn't working properly after 6 months.
What electric brush do you use and would you recommend?

I have a Philips Sonicare Healthy White 6730.
Still works perfectly after 3 years. (bought half price then)
Tend to buy the replacement brush heads when discounted.0 -

This is what we normally do buy them on offer, but want to get the right one this time, Amazon are doing deals at the moment on brushes and heads I'll have a look at this one that you suggest.0 -
I have a Braun sonic toothbrush which is still going strong after what must be at least 3yrs & no loss of charge. (Hope I haven't put the mockers on it now though by saying that!)The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I have a sonicare diamond clean and I love it. As with others I only buy replacement heads when they are on offer

I love it, it beats the pants off any other electric toothbrush I've had, my teeth have never been cleaner or healthier!
The one thing I love about it is the range of brush-heads, the floss action one is especially good if, like me, you hate flossing and find it just a useless waste of time.
One thing I would say is to avoid spending out on the dual clean brush-heads, they don't clean nearly as well as the standard ones, the brush head is so bulky that I find I can't get to the corners of my mouth properly
I keep the toothbrush on constant charge but I can take it away for a week and use it without losing much power. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I've been using the sonicare toothbrushes for a few years. Saves on the hygenist at the dentists. If you buy one make sure its the one that has small heads and not the one that you replace half the toothbrush. I too buy the heads when they were on offer. The last lot I bought were from the clearance aisle in boots and I have enough for several years.
I've not had a problem with them holding the charge and they generally hold it for about 2 weeks. I bought the latest one when it was on offer and it came with a sanitizer that you put your toothbrush head in and plug in and it emits a blue light. Its a total waste of time and I've never used it as its easier to replace the head but you live and learn! The Cabbage

Had a sonicare elite for 7 years - given to me. Brilliant and I buy replacement heads as needed.
As a result I buy them as presents for others. So idea that if you build good quality is bad for business doesn't wash or brush in this case.:)
Have to get another one as charge now won't hold.Flying Donkeys- Do no harm to others and you will benefit in more ways than one.0
