Endowment trade questions

Via APMM I've had an offer for my endowment policy from a company called Foster & Cranfield/IFG Teppco which is 10% above the surrender value.

Does anyone know:

1. Whether this is a reputable outfit?

2. Whether they might be open to haggling?!

When I surrendered my endowment recently I had four offers including one from F&C but by far the best offer was from this company.

Throughout the process they were very helpful and thorough, so it may be worth getting in touch with them for a quote.

    F&C are quite reputable.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
  • Hi

Surrenda do well with the offer, I would take VERY special care before you send the documentation though. They'll send you round in circles for months on end > by snail mail as the Email connection gets lost as soon as you're commmitted..

    examples:>

    Signature matching rejection
Address confirmation and evidence multiple requests acceptance then repeat
    etc.
All of this in serial mode.. It's been 4 Months already and no end in sight

How did you get on? I have done the same as you and have had about 5 different offers in but I am unsure who to use as I really don't want to choose and company that drags its heels in processing the offer. F&C gave me on of the lower quotes but I'd be prepared to haggle with them too.
