broker fee............

looking at buying another home and asked the misses to ring the mortgage advisor id use'd twice previously (to get the house and re-mortgage once fixed deal had ran out)
the last 2 times ive used him its been 'free'. think he got £400 commisson on the 100k mort.
our new mortgage will be £150k
been older and wiser (?) this time round im unsure if he whole of market or idependant and will be checking before we use him.
what was more concerning was he told the misses theres a £150 fee now?? im unsure if hes guna want £150 before we sit down or if this will be the fee for him getting us the mort once completed?
the misses is ringing back tomo to comfirm what the damage will be!!

If you have used the same adviser twice before and their service was acceptable then £150.00 is a small price to pay for a trustworthy adviser.0

Rules changed in January so advisers can no longer get commission from the products they sell. They have to charge their clients instead.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
