Never won anything?

I've been entering online comps for about 6 years now, at least 100 a month & have never won a thing yet i come on here & see people who have been winning when they've only just started entering! is it just my bad luck ?:(

I enter at least 100 a day and can sometimes only win one thing in a month. I make sure I enter small things as well as big things just to give myself more chances and keep my spirits up.

A friend of mine only enters the big ones and has only one two things in about three years. Are you entering to win the small prizes too?

100 per month is not much more than 3 per day and if the ones you enter are for major prizes your chances of winning are minimal unfortunately.

Get stuck in to the smaller comps and you should have some wins :beer:

Yes i'm entering everything!
i use the uk competitions website too as well as google, is there any other ways i can find where the comps are?

Some do 100 a day! Anything that needs an effort is worth going for.

There are pages and pages and pages of competitions ending each day just listed on this site, so if you are only entering 3 per day then you aren't entering everything by a long way. Have a look just in the competition section and sort it by end date and you will see what I mean. Good luck.

I used to use the UK Competitions site too but transferred over here about 6-8 months ago. The UK Competitions site only gives details for big prizes, not the twitter ones etc that are regularly posted on here. I have certainly won more since entering from here.

Use the comp board here, plenty posted each day
If you sort by thread title using the buttons at the bottom of the page and then click through to todays end date there are plenty of comps to doo just for today.

Yes, that's true, i've only just started comping last month and have had nice wins already but I must enter many more comps than that - I have no idea how many and I do only enter ones that I'd genuinely like to win / can actually attend if I won (e.g holiday, weekend away, theatre tix etc) but this still all comes to more than 3 a day.

Do you enter dailies as well? There's many people on this forum who'd be able to say more about them, who enter loads of dailies, I have my own little list of a few that I enter every day, in addition to all the others that I enter from these forums.

I agree with above. Have been comping for many years - in fact long before internet :eek: (now I'm showing me age!!!) I used to shop round supermarkets in the days of tiebreakers and won some absolute wonderful prizes. Tiebreakers were the way forward then and used to love getting me head round that sort of comp.

However, not so many of them now' if but a few maybe - I'm not sure, but if you can find some comps that needs a bit more of an effort, then that may be your key to success.
