10 months on and i'm still receiving calls, emails and post for loans

I applied over a year ago for a payday loan
As it was getting close to our wedding and we had a few things left to get - but in the end we decided not to go ahead and just went without a few things.
So the payday loan application went no further than applying online, having a phonecall from them and saying no thanks we've changed our minds.
Since then I've had regular calls, emails and text messages trying to offer me loans from all sorts of companies - sometimes several a day and certainly numbering 7+ every week
Today however is most concerning as I've had a £500 loan agreement just turn up in the post from 'amigo loans' asking for a guarantor and signature to go ahead with a loan.
It had all my personal info on dob, name, address, phone numbers and is just so worrying as I've not applied for anything at all since that payday loan
I called 'amigo loans' and they said that my details we passed to them by 'Loan Platform' and gave me the number 02920 215902 to call
I've tried the number and it says mailbox full and terminates the call
I've also tried googling and cannot find this company
Advice on this matter would be great - I'm not sure what to do next or who to contact to remove my details and stop these calls, texts, emails and letters
It must be affecting my credit rating as well as we recently went into pc world to get a new laptop and couldn't get credit - when we've not had problems before

Depending on who you originally passed your details to, you may be so deep in having had your details passed around, that it may be best simply to get a new phone number.Treacle1983 wrote: »It must be affecting my credit rating as well
No. it won't be.0 -
As you receive the emails, add them to your blocked senders list. Consider changing your numbers as recommended above - once your number is on the lists, it can be quite hard to get it stopped.
You would have signed up to receive offers from the company and 'respected partner companies' when applying, which is why your details got passed around.
It shouldn't be causing trouble on your credit file - it may be worth checking your credit report to see if any negative markers have shown up.
Good luckSome days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

if you ignore them then they will stop after a while. dont respond to text messages either as they are phising to find out if the number is active.
best one I keep getting is froma company called QLS saying they will give me 25% extra free if a i take a loan with them, things must be desperate for them to give it away.
Amigo loans did the same to me with the completed documents for £2500 i only had to ge the guarantor and payback £5500 over a year, this wa after responding to four emails and telling them to sod off, just tell them your not interested and they wont do it again.0 -
Have managed to track the original I applied with
Cash Finance Direct - part of horizon finance
Have got in touch and requested removal of my details
The broker mentioned on the letter today was Loan Platform and from information commissioners office I have their details and will write to them
