I was a sw consultant for a short time (left for personal reasons).
Its a lovely job, helping people is a big reward in itself.
There is a cost of £600ish initially or higher depending on what you want.
Training is in Derby, which is free, including lunch, but you have to pay for overnight stay at a local hotel. There are ongoing training available at HO, as well as local meetings while a consultant. You will be expected to deliver 3000 leaflets or more in surrounding area of your class, though you can get friends/family & members to help. Allow for room in your house for stock/stationary. After class you will have paperwork/ support calls/texts etc to members & planning for next class. This isn't too bad if you plan well.
You can go to an Ops meeting where they will tell you more, no pressure to 'sign up'
  • Edina,

How much does it actually cost.
