Ello.
I'm betting the answer is going to include something about pieces of string, but just wondered if anyone had a "ballpark" idea as to how long this process should take without any major hiccups.
I've got a vague feeling I've heard complaints that they are being a tad slow at the moment, perhaps due to the huge publicity currently and NatYES campaign - but for all I know they could be perfectly on it.
Anyone else awaiting a "yes"? We are currently at the legal/valuation stage and drumming fingers rather a lot!
Yup, I have no patience. But I'm sure I'm not alone...student loan repayments recently kicked in (mine are not small, unfortunately...), and re-mortgaging was the only way for me to get back where I was with finances!

Full application submitted 3rd July, Natwest lost our income documents then managed to find them and we got a call this morning saying our application had now been fully approved subject to valuation! I don't think they are being particularly slow in comparison to other lenders though. I think it just feels slow to anyone waiting for a decision

Yup, tell me about it!
we actually submitted our application around the time you did and spookily enough I heard from our broker right after posting this thread. They told us that the valuation report is due TOMORROW, and we should have an answer very shortly after that.
