NatWest re-mortgage. How long?

Ello.

I'm betting the answer is going to include something about pieces of string, but just wondered if anyone had a "ballpark" idea as to how long this process should take without any major hiccups.

I've got a vague feeling I've heard complaints that they are being a tad slow at the moment, perhaps due to the huge publicity currently and NatYES campaign - but for all I know they could be perfectly on it.

Anyone else awaiting a "yes"? We are currently at the legal/valuation stage and drumming fingers rather a lot!

Yup, I have no patience. But I'm sure I'm not alone...student loan repayments recently kicked in (mine are not small, unfortunately...), and re-mortgaging was the only way for me to get back where I was with finances!

Full application submitted 3rd July, Natwest lost our income documents then managed to find them and we got a call this morning saying our application had now been fully approved subject to valuation! I don't think they are being particularly slow in comparison to other lenders though. I think it just feels slow to anyone waiting for a decision ;)

Yup, tell me about it! :D we actually submitted our application around the time you did and spookily enough I heard from our broker right after posting this thread. They told us that the valuation report is due TOMORROW, and we should have an answer very shortly after that.

    FINGERS CROSSED!!!
