Good cheap waterproof mascara?

I'm off on hols next week and need a good but cheap waterproof mascara.
Any recommendations?

Is it for swimming? I think MAC do a swim-proof one, but you might be better off just tinting your lashes.

If it's just for the beach then Boots Natural Collection is pretty good, and it costs about £2 :money:

Nivea waterproof mascara from Poundworld. I've only tried it when I'm in the gym, but it does stay put.

Another vote for Nivea. I got Nivea Lash Elastic Waterproof Mascara in Black from fragrancedirect.co.uk for about £2, its wonderful!

Another vote for Boot's Natural Collection waterproof. Took it on holiday to Turkey, survived beach, pool and sweaty bazaars with no panda eyes!

I also have the Nivea one mentioned above, but I have not yet put it through such vigorous testing!

Rimmel 100% waterproof in a blue container. I used Max Factor Aqualash for years until they discontinued it and this is the closest so far though not as good as MF.
Loreal telescopic"s not bad but doesn't last long.
I'm going to try the Nivea next as a comparison, thanks

The Nivea one manages to stay put when I'm sweating buckets in the gym. Although I guess that's not the same enviroment as swimming.

I find the Nivea one gentle on the lashes. Some waterproof mascaras can be a bit too harsh & take their toll on eyelashes.

Also, the Miss Sporty waterproof liquid eyeliner is good too, stays put, thats only £2.99 I think!
