    Does the employer have other salary sacrifice options, such as bike to work etc?

    Don't really want a bike,lol. Just basically fed up paying for everything like everyone else s.do not mind paying my fair share but the fair share seems to be getting unfair.

    On your figures, your income less current pension contributions falls into the 20% income tax band, even with the new pay rise added. Are you sure you're paying 40% tax?

    If your exposure is only to 20% tax then in your shoes I'd go for ISAs rather than more pension.

    Sums: (39714 + 6000)x0.92 -95.49x52+50x52x0.92 = £39483 p.a.
    Free the dunston one next time too.
