I can't even check my receipt later to see how it compares as there aren't 8 different items on it.

Morning all, lutzi1 reporting for duty after a few weeks absense.

Life has been somewhat challenging in the lutzi household. We went off to the Canaries for two weeks holiday, and sadly heard on the second day out there that OH's father had passed away unexpectedly. So when we got back, we then all had to turn round and fly off to the funeral. MIL is doing well, OH stayed out there with her for a couple of weeks afterwards. Then we all had to go up to Edinburgh to the Fringe to see DD's BF performing last weekend, so all in all things have been rather hectic.

Hope all are doing well and having a good summer. I see it's Nikki's birthday today, so have a good one Nikki!

I'm having to type this on an IPad as my laptop has currently died, so I need to look into getting a new one. We went to PcWorld last night to have a look, but they display them sans batteries so you can't tell how heavy they are, which is a consideration.

Some items from a T v A shop yesterday which may help someone.

    3 pack of peppers £1.75 v £1
    Iceberg lettuce. £1 v 50p
    Salad tomatoes. £1 v 75p
    Baking potatoes. £2.75 v £2.48
    Whole cucumber. 65p v 50p
    Cathedral City mature cheddar 2 x 350g. £7.49 v £4
    Kallo rice cakes thick. £1 v 75p
    2xFinest potatoes dauphinoise. £5 v £4 (use £2 moc)
    Ariel 16 washes. £6. £3

Have a good day all. :)

Sorry to hear your news Lutz. I tried to send you a pm yesterday but think your in box is full x

Very Happy Birthday to Nikkilala hope you have a fab day :T:T

I had one with coloured plastic stars on when had other dogs didn't shut back door with it on they went out and in when they pleased. :T

They both :A and along came Poppy and couldn't use it. Why ? the noise frightened Poppy so she wouldn't go out :rotfl::rotfl:

Feeling better than I did last night. Pain in stomach area was that bad I was frightened thinking it was appendicitis and thought cant go A&E and leave Poppy alone :(

It amazes me how animals especially dogs and cats know when their mums or dads are ill and in their own way try and help :T
