The horses will eat anything:eek: it's so good for the kids to see them walking by:)

    Thanks.
Yes, good to see them walking by, but we were all a little freaked out at having one in our tent!! It was a lovely place to camp though. Cycling there is great. Glad all went well in the end.

the walkers extra crunchy cheddar & sour cream crisps (150g) are bogof. normal price is £1.99 but someone reported going through at 50p - so 2 bags for 50p. didnt work for me - full price (though still bogof) :o

Are you sure it wasn't the nerf kids just getting up in the morning:D
    Your trips sound great:)

You know, come to think of it .................

The trip was fantastic, though it was a few years ago (just before the riots they had in Mombassa, not far from where we stayed) and we came back with some incredible pics, not least of all from when we came across a pair of lions doing as nature intended, my finger got stuck on the shutter release for a while there :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The funniest thing was we were listening to a wildlife photographer on the radio a while after we came back, and he had never in 20 years managed to get pics of lions up to that sort of thing in the wild! We were about 20 - 30 feet away :eek::eek:

You're making me realise how lucky we are around here nerfdad. Before now I have had to call a farmer because one of his cows was breaking out of a grazing meadow, often see horses around, cycle past a stud stable on most Tuesday's, had to release a shrew into the wild a few days ago after finding it on the side road. We have foxes visiting the garden, as well as hedgehogs. We don't even live in what I would class as the countryside!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
