Just thought i'd share with you what NisaLocally said about their coupons on FB... Followed by my response.
So NisaLocally say...
'We actively encourage all Nisa retailers to operate best practice across all areas of their stores, and the voucher scheme is one of these areas.
However, each store is an independent business and not owned or directly controlled by Nisa and therefore we cannot force any store to accept vouchers if they do not wish to do so.'
My 1st responce......
I think this is more than terrible!
So, I pass my only local Nisa to pick up a free pack of crisps, (for my son, btw.) Well that's what your website tells me I can do, (yeh right!) No individual store voucher scheme policy mentioned! So my local store can 'choose' not to take these vouchers when I have a legally printed, individually coded, checkable safecoupon? Am I wrong to to feel like a thief when I have gone into a store to pick up a pack of crisps YOU said I could have, only to have them snatched out from under my nose and hidden behind the counter as they spot the voucher, as if i'm going to run out the door with them like some criminal! I'm just glad I didn't sit in the car outside and send my teenage son in to get them. He would have been mortified to be treated that way, as he would have felt they were treating him like a stereotypical teenager. But it seems many of your stores are treating everyone this way.
Bad Show NisaLocally!
Ps, my son never did get his crisps as there was NO-WAY I was going to hand them money after this treatment, and I will NEVER shop there again..... And all because of a bag of crisps!
Followed by this comment......
I was even spoke to in a sarcastic manor, and made to feel bad that I was even attempting to use a NisaLocally coupon in an Nisa store. Now when I have complained about other stores I have had bad treatment in, they have sent out a 'voucher of goodwill' with an aim of keeping me as a customer. Well you needn't bother, because I won't be able to spend it anyway!!!!!
It's just the principle of the whole thing that winds me up. I will await a response from them today I hope!!!!
Has anyone else used the Nisa voucher with success or failure? This was asked the other day by someone else, sorry I can't remember who. I didn't see any other replies apart from mine but don't know if i've missed any of the thread.
It was me that asked earlier on the thread (I think)
They gave me the same response, we try to encourage best practice but stores donlt need to accept coupons (implying that stores don't follow best practice). All this says to me is that the coupons really aren't worth the ink or effort. I vented back of the FB page:
Thanks for clearing up the fact that ALL Nisalocally stores can refuse to accept the coupons Nisalocally promote and provide through the Nisa Local web site.
Lets hope, for those that go there, they choose to bide by the promotional prices you put on your website, but I see that the current sweet offers of Maynards Midget Gems and Sports Mix are chepaer in Tesco at only 98p with the Bassetts Allsorts and Jelly Babies matched in price bt Asda. Both of whom do accept their own vouchers and coupons.0 -
Ha, ha. Sent the husband to T's to do a meal deal shop. Told him there would be no PP but he still bought all his fillers! That's habit for you!
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!0 -

Anyone after E45 cream in a tub 125g? If you buy in T or S @ £4, you can get £2 cashback via MySL. Compare it against A at £3.30 and use a £1 E45 moc/pdf from March if you still have any
you'll get a 70p PP or BM, £2 c/b and £1 moc = 30p NET cost:jTiger
