You like to munch on crisps
You are lazy in the kitchen.
But in the bathroom, you're worth it.0 -

Went to see the Lowry exhibition at Tate Britain, which was excellent, then had a lovely walk along the Thames, through Westminster and up through St James Park onto the Mall to watch the cyclists for a bit. Paying the price now though, my back and leg are really sore
Passed T on the way home from the station. DH asked if I wanted to call in but I was too tired, so just as well neosi did the tidying.
Evening all
Glad you enjoyed Lowry hornetgirl. I saw it last month and found it quite fasinating, especially as later in life he had to paint from memory as landscape had changed so much. Some very dark paintings though.

Everything should qualify in T (as 1 of your 10, not necessarily for comparison)
My thoughts are:
sa didnt scan everything
sa scanned one thing multiple times rather than each item individually
Shop was done in an express store
You took the words out of my mouth!:) Of course...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::DI know I should be buying cereal at tesco this week(lol) but price of the 72 pack weetabix at our local Asda tonight of 1.50 I could not resist clearing the cage! Checked on my supermarket when I got home and all supermarkets it is £5.98 or two for £10.oo at tesco. Best thing was lovely sa put one extra through at orginal price of 2.98. Went to customer services who refunded this on to my card. I stood there and just waited patiently for my giftcard for overcharge. The csa just kept looking at me so i politely enquired about it - she begrudgingly give it to me without a smile or a word. I had a smile and happily said thank you! So weetabix 72 pack for £1.10 each! shame asda don't do petrol coupons on cereal this week but there again I didnot spend enough. Just noticed a thread on the shopping board for try me free eco andrex 4 or 9 roll up to 3lst aug.
Need a new washing machine for elderly relative anyone know of any bargain buys. REally want the cheapest on the market with good reviews? Have seen a logic one on currys for £169 which has good reviews.
In spite of T's fuel offer, I was considering these 72 Weetabix for Avs T:eek: (to compare against buying two for £10.00)*. After all that, they still work out at around £3.33 for 48. Less 10% cheaper = £3.00 (and having to buy two packs, and that's the same price as buying the 48 pack in any store when they go on offer at £3.00 each, when you could get 10% off that = £2.70 not £3.00. In other words, avoid!) Or, as you have done, 72 Weetabix for £1.10 - well done!:T
For what it's worth (after your £1.10 for 72!), Morries have some 36 Weetabix packs for £2.50 - they have a big red band saying, er, "£2.50" on them, funnily enough!:rotfl::rotfl:There don't appear to be any 36 pack in A (or T on msm.co.uk at least). £2.50 for 36 is just as rubbish per biscuit as 72 pack at £5.00 each IMO. Still more expensive than £3.00 48 packs (when they're on offer somewhere in the future) and a lot more expensive than your £1.10 72 ones! I'll mention it though, as I know some people do go for the Weetabixs rather than any own brand alternatives. It's still not going onto my M list though at that price!:D
Also, Andrex Eco Roll 4 pack is currently Avs W (for those who can do that), having been removed from the M list now that Waities is quite some cheaper! Therefore, it seems, with your 'try me free' in the event that you happen not to like them, better than free!:D That's what I like! Don't wait too long though - as Waities offer due to expire 13/8 (treat that as 12/8 at the very latest and, even then, not into that evening). N Ireland will probably need to wait until T or S price match A and get 17.5p. (That's if the coupons are accepted in A. Or... perhaps anyone can get them in T (vs A) or S (with approp. spend) (vs A) if they allow you a 'free' pack at whatever the higher-priced store costs.)
*Well - after all, we can get the Frosties 500x2 and/or Bitesize Shredded Wheat 500 in T (to compare against A).0 -
Evening all, watching Hot Fuzz again...
Annette Roper: [over walkie talkie] That Sergeant Angel's coming into your shop. Get a look at his a***.
