Savvybuyer wrote: »Oh good!:) It appears T have put the price up on the Young's Admiral Pie (340g) was £1.50 now £2.00. Look for £1.50 to still be on there (or possibly 2 for £3.00, you know how msm can be) - and (not Northern Ireland) this very product is £1.00 each in M!:):)
...And they've put the Young's Mariner's Pie back down to £1.00 now, matching M's instore price. So avoid that one!
I think, with all their to-ing and fro-ing, our shennigans is fully justified!:):) Definitely go to see if their fish tins are mispriced as well (remember Gefen Fancy Pink Salmon 213g vs A, John West Wild Pink Salmon 213g vs M - please do not mix up!:D That's doubtless the confusion they may be hoping to create, to take more money from our mistake, so only for those who are confident about this!)

M list has been updated accordingly on the Young's pies, so if you are doing Tvs M you can't go far wrong looking at that!0 -

This is promoted on their flyer this week
It may be on flyers (some of which I may see), TV advertising or even on M's website. But it is very likely to be picked up (albeit a few days later sometimes) when I visit the stores for the price collection - this helps me get details more comprehensively and, because of that, I then don't usually get time to check flyers/M's website on top (which is unnecessary for me to do anyway).
Also - if something's in a flyer, it's advertising so it is more of what the store wishes to promote - and this doesn't necessarily mean it's a good offer (in terms of price or price per unit). So, I tend to pay much less attention what they're promoting in ads etc. and instead look at the fullest range instore and decide myself (although of course their offer labels themselves then tend to divert towards certain items - which generally are better priced but may sometimes not be - items that are not being promoted can sometimes be better value, so I do try to look around, having had my attention drawn more to a big offer label).
I use instore prices therefore, not flyers or advertising, and womble results do help to pick up occasional extra items and prices vs M.
On the odd occasion, where my price check has fallen down, I will supplement the collection and the womble results by confirming the price on M's website (if it shows on there:mad:).1 x Nivea Stress Protect 48h Anti Perspirant Deodorant... £3.29 £1.50
A v S from a womble yesterday
Many thanks again - these womble results are coming thick and fast, outdoing me as much as I'm outdoing them by working as fast on the M list!:D:cool: (Edit: I do see it is versus Sains. Whether it's vs them or another, we're looking around vs all!)0 -
A quick question if I may. I have some of the 50p Blossom hill coupons, and it says 'one coupon per transaction per person' so would I be right in assuming that it will only let me use one of these vouchers? Many thanks“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
