Evening hope everyone is okay and drinking plenty in this hot humid weather.I have the fan on full but it just seems to be pushing the hot air around the room :eek:Had a NSD today and like someone said earlier I too had a finest ready meal tonight as did not feel the inclination to cook in this heat and found a little tub of choablok icecream tucked in the corner of the freezer which if my memory serves me right we got free with moc's a while ago;)
will have a catchup tomorrow as am feeling very weary so Goodnight all:Aenjoy the rest of your evening.
Good night. I hope you get some sleep. Its going to be hard.
What I tend to do, is fill up Robinson's pop bottles (any other make will also work), and freeze them first thing in the morning. Then I put them in my bed about an hour before bed. Really makes the bedsheets lovely and cool!
I also place one frozen bottle of water in front of the fan.
:pHappy Bunny:p
Life is like a pipe and I'm a tiny penny rolling up the walls inside.

Rang (onsaynoto0870) & the park is closed for that weekend so I could either have any date or a different park ....
We're going to Kiln Park instead :j:j:j

Trip to Skomer on the cards? It's lovely when the puffins are there. Felt so stupid when I wondered if I could photograph them.Didn't realise that they were so tame or exhibitionists!
Stayed at the Clock House in Marloes. Accommodation and food were first class, as were the hosts.0 -
Like i said before this wont be for everyone

Pay a one off fee of £10 for the box and get BBC iplayer on your TV so useful for those of us without sky ect. You could subscride and get the movies and sports but we dont wanna do thatthe box will work without subscribing
These are NowTV branded boxes but the cheapest unbranded box (Roku) i can find is on amazon at £45
https://shop.nowtv.com/
However, the box is hackableor rather you can sideload a app onto it
i saw this on HUKD but was waiting for them to confirm it works, after youve sideloaded the app onto it, you can then stream media, music and films straight to your tv from your pc or lappy
You install the app called Plex on both the box and on your PC, tell Plex on your pc where all your files are stored, then watch whatever films etc you have on your pc via your telly, job done
details of the box and how to sideload it are here

Video of how to install Plex

Feels good to be homeEven if it isn't really my home
It still feels like it!
Too knackered to contemplate T's or A's though, so they shall have to wait until tomorrow. I hate the drive down that road, didn't help that it rained for nearly all of it and DD insisted on asking every 5 minutes are we there yet?! :rotfl:
Came up the A9 last week, the worst journey yet, bad accident at Brewers and then lorries playing at passing each other every time they had a chance, I hate that road with a vengeance.
Have a great break.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
Late tonight checking in as spent most of the day in the garden tidying and watering everything and boy, has it been a warm one :rotfl:
Nice in a way to have a change and not have to go looking for JF supplies -
Hope everyone has had a good day - don't think I'll be around too long as the combination of fresh air and the glass of wine I'm having will see me off :rotfl:
But will try to catch up - at least a bit:p0 -
Spent ages compiling a detailed list (having finally given in and getting cereals for the petrol tokens) with Rustlers, finest ready meals, pork pies , cereals, fillers etc all calculated to come to £40 so I could use an HH, meal deals, pie coupn, chefs pledge, a CC Finest meals one that arrived in the post today, Rustlers coupons and a couple of PP's.
Got a trolley (unusual for me to need one), checked that my favourite CA was on..... and then had to abort cos they only had 5 Rustlers and no 500g Shredded bite size ! Jeez, I stood there like a lemon with an empty trolley and just about threw a complete wobbly in the middle of the shop. Went out muttering rude words under my breathe and got a VERY funny look from the security guard who obviously thought I'd missed taking my medication.
My fave CA said 'Hi' when I went in - he told me he' used the 3 Rustler coupons as I told him and didn't pay anything cos he got a 10% staff discount on the £8 balance before coupons ! He was very happy - unlike me !
Aw hun better luck next time, I hate it when I go in and something isn't there, always throws me.0 -
