Some of the wines for the £10 meal deal are showing on line as 25% off 6, don't know if this is available in store as well?
I do believe it is. Remember you can buy mini bottles to get the 6 bottles to qualify for 25% off meal deal wine.
Anyhow small pp on these two small bottles

So buy 6 £9 in Tesco, £8 in Asda so should get £1 pp plus then 25% off (£2.25) - so 5.75 for 6 bottles (95p). This will qualify for your meal deal bottles. Can't get to store to try til lunchtime.
Most wines coming up n/a against Sainsbury's/Mr A and Morribobs on MSM so not much opportunity for pp. Rugger do Mr T use MSM or is that just Mr A? -pooh may have done research wrong - off to look for Tesco and Asda websites not MSM.0 -

Morning all
Struggling to cope with the change from 40 degrees in France to 20-25 here in the NE and the rain. Got straight back into whoopsie shopping though last night and piad £5 for several days worth of food instead of £30 -£40 in France. Did however pick up a few bargains over there at their Vide Grenier ("empty attic" = car boot sale) and a clothing outlet near Calais where Levis were 10 euros. Mostly odd sizes but managed to get a pair of 501s to fit me. Happy days:)
Hope everyone is well as I haven't a hope in hell of catching up
Are you an odd size then - innocent smiley0 -

Good tip TM. Been a while since I've sat in museum gardens but its on the list for me and the kids to do again this summer. Hesitate to mention the next bit for obvious reasons but here goes ....
There used to be lots of squirrels around - so if you take some nuts along and feed them they will come very close .... I'm hoping they are still there as kids will love it ..... Anyhow David. take your nuts!! :rotfl::rotfl:
oo your in York - how fab!
We holidayed in York for years and then eldest child did her 4 uni years up there and now lives and works for Avia in the middle of town and lives overlooking the river :T
They were getting ready earlier in the week to shut Lendal bridge despite a huge petition to stop it doing ahead
If you go to the Tourist information and ask if they have a leaflet about the cat trail - we actually got ours from the Travelodge on Micklegate - its a leaflet with a map which takes you all over York on a treasure hunt looking for all the various cats hidden all over the city :T
Also if you get a chance then the walk along the river opposite Museum gardens is nice from the boat house all the way along past the sorting office and under the bridge and onwards.
Also look out for the ice cream boat“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
