Evening all
Finally caught up.
Had a nice trip out to The Range today and got a picture I had my eye on reduced from £35 to £12. Thrilled as talked myself out of it at the higher price last month's. Dad got a large pair of curtains. Not that mse but cheaper than he could have paid. Found his curtains then got bored so I didn't get a really good look around.
Then went into canterbury for late lunch and decided after all these years of dad visiting we would finally look round cathedral. Well at £9.50 each decided not to bother. Real shame but extortionate cost. Last time I went in it was free:eek:
That was on a sunday in winter though. Shame as I love it in there.
Busy week planned as taking dad to ramsgate to see his brother tomorrow then hoping to get to big t's to look for jf, and primark in margate as large new one.
Thursday lunch with mum and step dad at golf club then friday hoping to visit Chartwell home of Churchill.
Things come in 3's and this morning dad pulled curtain track down in spare room by accident and then when we got home key bust in lock. Luckily dad managed to fiddle and open door. Have a dead bolt so will have to use until have time to fix it.
Hope all are well and welcome home DM.

Been lugging around BE mocs for these for months but never seen them in store (Birds Eye Stir Frys). According to MSM only Tesco and Ocado stock them but not seen in 3 Tescos around here. Anyone else had any luck?
Anyhow if you can find them they are "reduced from £3 to £2 in Mr T" and if you have 75p moc from the van you will get for £1.25. You just need to find them ... sorry no apg, pp or brandmatch available on this one .....

Oh there is a PP use available! Useful as a filler on T PP shopping so that you only need 9 other items (including bag reuse at non-SS) rather than 10. Careful on the Chicken Stir Fry with Rice though - msm showing S at £2.99 for those, albeit showing as out of stock.
Need to check a.com/sains.co.uk as applicable as T uses them to compare, not msm. I've never seen these three products in M (doesn't mean some far-flung M store away from me doesn't stock them) so, until it's reported whether they are N/A vs M, I'm not sticking my head out!:D0 -
That store has a really big trout on cs. Every penny (or £'s;)) that she has to refund on dtd is from her very own purse. When getting a dtd just listen to her excuses, then when she stops for breath she looks at you waiting for you to say something in agreement like 'Oh I see, sorry'. Remain silent and she'll usually say 'So that's why I can only refund the difference'. Silence (really takes the wind out of her sails
). When she starts to talk again, smile politely and ask her what t's blue noticeboard says about 'if things don't add up'. Hmm, huff and puff follow, then you get dtd albeit with a grimace not a smile.
My friends had been told at that store twice recently that 'only coupons with Tesco on them would be accepted' but they had contacted Tosco HQ CS and got email confirmation of their coupopn policy plus that the store would be reminded that as long as terms on coupon all coupons are to be accepted, so I calculated a 'good' coupon shop and we went armed with that email ... but the lad who was on the till just put them through without a word ... so perhaps they have had some retraining
We popped to D!bden Tosco tonight and got 4 bunches of lillies/astrolmeria (?) for 30p each, 2 kalancho in tea cups (pressies for teacher on cups) for 30p each, and bits of salad for 3p to 10p, plus scones for 10p and 2 x 4 rolls for 7p ... and of course used a few more coupons there :j And picked up a few more Ready Meals leafletsMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Or...how about the O price match vs T? Only gets you to a penny lower than T (if you do it right and if it works) - but doesn't O compare to items that are half the size or double the size of T (so you could get something half the size in O and compare to the T product of twice its size that on special)? Useful perhaps if you can't find them in T but O delivers them to you (coupled with a £10 off first timer offer? But got to check how/whether that affects the PM vs T and whether you can use your coupons vs online shopping - I rarely do it myself, unless T are paying me to do it!:D (For instance, if as compo for some mix-up I was sent a £5 e-coupon, I'd spend online that exact amount on items that were half that price elsewhere, then use the resulting T PP instore, again for items costing no more than its value).)0 -

Looks like O might not do the voucher refund thing anymore but matches T's standard prices (not promos) on its website:(. Someone else knows better than me... I'm digging out of my depth!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Okay folks, totally unconnected with that - I promise!! - I've got to go anyway now, as time has called me in!!
See you - probably late tomorrow after checks in M.:):)
(Hopefully they won't put the Garniers and Doves on offer this week, as just so so many of them!:(:(:(:mad::mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Goodnight!:D:wave::wave:_party_0 -
