I looked at BTs TV package. It isn't bad, but you can't have multi room, which isn't much good for me.

Catching up. I believe you can use bt tv in more than one room you just need ether adaptors and several old bt boxes. I have not set my second bt box up due to decorating but no reason why it should not work. The ether adptors (think they are powerline adaptors) just need syncing so all work on same frequencey then they carry the internet to whichever tv device you want to use.
No extra subscription needed and many of the older bt boxes on ebay.
