    Hi everyone.
Dont know if it will help anyone but in the tesco booklet with the vouchers there is a 50p off any Sanex product and they are currently half price in Sainsburys so quite a good PP if you get ten items.

spent so long yesterday sorting in what direction to go shopping to asda or tesco as both 10 miles from us but in opposite directions, that I realised it was nearly 4oclock and the shop would be shut before i got there:rotfl::rotfl:

lucky i had a spare loaf in the freezer and bagels as there was not enough milk for cereal, (or no fruit, sugar, or cereal:D)

got told by ds2 that i have one job to find cheap food and fill the cupboards and cant even manage that so i told him to do his own lunchbox, washing, dinner tonight, water his chicks, advertise his pigeons for sale, and do the other dozen jobs i do for him
his answer, stop being a drama queen mam :p
he did empty the bins afterwards so think he was trying to earn brownie points

We're almost in same position, no shops for 5-6 miles or 10 in 3 different directions. In this weather (humid, too hot to shop) and in the winter I stock up on long life. The Just milk (or whatever they call it now) is pretty good for a standby - only buy it on offer though! Asda smartprice skimmed 52p a litre has been finding its way into a shop comparison lately - compares OK and is useful if you do run out.

You're just a baby yet re bike-riding. I think I'm eligible, due to my advanced age, for a bus pass now - won't do much good though with 2 buses a day & either 6 hrs or 5 mins to do a shop in.
