I've been a lurker for a while i'm new to couponing and have been researching lots, i'm still getting my head round price comparing in different stores etc but i'm still learning! I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone for their contributions and friendliness. Had a fab day today with my husband shopping today, thanks to everyone on here our day looked like this:

Headed into the city - spent £2 parking (going to look for free carpark next time)
Boots - Free Clinique foundation sample in Boots with coupon
WHSmith - Fee Wispa and Crunchie O2 offer
Hotel Choc - SA offered us a free sample of some round cocktail choc ball one each very nice but pricey to buy so just picked up our X2 bags of strawberry puddles free on O2 offer - Going to use as small presents just not sure who yet!
    Halfords - X2 Car Shampoo + X2 Sponges - O2 offer
Waitrose - X2 Lattes Free - Drank them in the car and ate WHS choccy also picked up a free magazine which I would like to give pack to them as Pippa Middleton irritates me!
Headed to Mr T - bottle of Oasis Free MOC, Yogurt BOGOF had MOC so Free! Elizabeth shaw round mint chocs on offer for £2 had MOC - Total £4.85 but came to £1! :) Chocs to go in Christmas present box for my Nan.
Then popped into another Halfords and got another 2 Shampoos and sponges which have gone in the Christmas present box :)

    Total spent £3! :j

Thanks everyone, if I come across anything of any use to anyone I will let you know but you all have loads more experience than I do so doubt I will be able to contribute much :(

I say, just go and bloody buy the stuff, if you get a voucher, good. If not, take it back.:D

    [...]

Yeah:cool:. But original poster trying to avoid a wasted trip I assume.

(Certainly would now be wasted, it seems, if you are after cereal/pet stuff/the Nescafe etc. - assuming you're not within 2 hours drive of a Scottish T and thus able to rush and beat the deadline tonight.)

    Not you Savvy, The Op.:)

Im not sure that expresses do petrol coupons? Theres no promotional signs on any of the products in any near me like there are in the extra. That's not to say they don't, of course.
Even so, with the increased prices in expresses and the lack of choice, I think you'd have to weigh up how cost effective it would be trying to get a petrol coupon that way.
Are there new offers starting tomorrow? Or is it finished? The current offers finished today

Waitrose cheaper, NA in A (With suggestions of cheaper alternatives that are available in A that msm has come up with, A selected simply because that's come out the most cheaper)

    Lotus Original Caramelised Biscuits (250g)79p

Fox's Party Mini Rings (6x25g)99p (Fox's Party Rings (125g) cheaper - Avs M correct last week, or Avs S in N.I.)

Al'Fez Lebanese Style Falafel Mix (150g)74p

    Essential Waitrose Butter Croissants (4)75p

Real Foods Corn Thins - Original (150g)95p (Kallo Organic Thick Wholegrain Rice Cakes - Original (130g)76p)

Real Foods Corn Thins - Soy & Linseed (150g)95p

Bahlsen Leibniz Zoo Butter Biscuits for Children (125g)80p:eek: (Really?? Do you really need them??)

Waitrose Bombay Mix (200g)£1.00 (ASDA Smartprice Bombay Mix (200g)64p)

McVitie's Jaffa Cakes Triple Pack (36 per pack - 423g)£1.54

3x:eek: Betty Crocker Bisquick (500g)£1.69 3 for 2 (ASDA Chosen by You Home Baking Batter Mix (256g)39p each - would need 6 to make up same quantity as 3 of the W item. W total cost of 3 = £3.38 vs A's 6 for £2.34, but as you don't need that quantity to make the 'saving' in W anyway, perhaps just one packet of the A one at 39p - or of course, just use one of your old 7p SP/Eday Value/Savers Batter Mixes!:D)

    Edler's Medium Flan Case (80g)79p

Discovery Mexican Soft Corn Tortillas (8)£1.00 (ASDA Chosen by You Corn Tortillas (8)£1.00)

Discovery Mexican Plain Flour Tortillas (8)£1.00

Sacla Italia Conchiglie (500g)£1.00 (ASDA Chosen by You Conchiglie (500g)50p)

Sacla Italia Fusilli (500g)£1.00 (Napolina Fusilli (500g)£1.00)

Sacla Italia Penne Giganti (500g)£1.00 (Napolina Penne Pasta (500g)£1.00)

    Napisan Non Biological (800g)£2.50

Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium Disposable Razors (3)£2.55

Totally fab - my idea of a perfect Sunday! The only things I could add are free Greggs doughnuts - sadly the free vouchers went very quickly. And free iced coffees from Tesco :)
And a free larger if you are lucky enough to live in a city with Piano and pitcher.

Your parking is very cheap. My nearest very small market town its £2.10 for 3 hours - none of the bigger shops.
